Hope you’re all doing well! Drum effects please.. *ba dum tsss Haha! The past month has been busy, but extremely rewarding and fun. I’m thrilled to see “The Grumble Noise” teaser at the erikxraj.com website. I had such a great time working on this project. The client was amazing and very fun to work with! I’m really excited because it’s my first children’s book illustration project ever and it’s interactive! SWEET! Illustrating children’s book is the best job ever!!!

The Grumble Noise is an interactive storybook for the iPad. Coming soon!

It’s been quite a while since I last posted anything here! Recently I was asked to do some mural design for kindergarten, so of course I gladly said yes! Here’s a quick update of what I’ve been working on over the last few days. This is the largest, most time consuming piece of artwork I have ever worked on, it took me over 5 days to render. I hope to soon be posting more frequently, I appreciate all you bloggers sticking around! Thank you all for the support you’ve given me. :)

“Plant a tree”

There is over 600 species of bird in the Philippines, and all of them are threatened with extensive habitat loss! I draw a Philippine Eagle planting a tree and I put some emotion on his face here that he’s losing patience and started planting trees. In real life, he would probably do it if only he can.
